Since Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the city of Los Angeles has been ravaged by major fires. The flames have already destroyed many homes on site. Several celebrities have lost their respective villas. Among the latter, we can notably cite Laeticia Hallyday. Indeed, the house that Johnny Hallyday's widow owned on site went up in smoke. As she revealed in a video posted on Instagram.

We lost everything… There is nothing left. I watched our house go up in smoke, helpless in the face of the flames that took everything away. This video haunts my heart. It wasn't just a house…It was our refuge, our rebirth after the chaos of grief. It was within these walls that we healed our wounds, that we learned to live with absence, &to rebuild days &é;lit’by love despite the shadow of loss. It sheltered our dreams, our secrets, our promises for tomorrow“, first wrote Laeticia Hallyday.

Laeticia Hallyday: “We are devastated. But together, we will try to be reborn one day”

But above all, she helped us get back on our feet, to rebuild ourselves after the unimaginable absence of my husband. This house was our refuge in the chaos of mourning, our anchor when everything seemed to be falling apart. Everything has disappeared… and with it, a part of my soul. The grief is endless. I think of my neighbors, my friends, those who have lost everything, this village of Pacific Palisades that we loved so much for 17 years and that gave us so much“, Johnny Hallyday's widow then added.

We are devastated. But together, we will try to be reborn one day, even in the midst of these ruins. For now, there remains silence and ashes. But there will always be love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your messages. Thank you for your support. I don't have the strength to answer everyone yet, but know that I am deeply grateful to you. You are a light in this darkness“, Laeticia Hallyday finally concluded.

André Boudou on this villa: “Johnny éwas everywhere. In the living room, the garage, the office on the ground floor”

The villa that Jade and Joy Hallyday's mother owned in Los Angeles consisted of three spacious floors. A kitchen open to the living room. But also a garden with a swimming pool. Laeticia Hallyday's father, André Boudou, had stayed there twice in the past. He just mentioned the interior decoration of this house in an interview granted to the Parisian.

“Johnny was everywhere. In the living room, the garage, the office on the ground floor. She had recreated her office in Marnes-la-Coquette with her cowboy hats, an Indian chief's headdress, a motorcycle helmet….”, declared Laeticia Hallyday's father. Before finally concluding: “This is Johnny's second death“.
