This was the last will of Jerzy Połomski. He was supposed to ask his manager about it before he left
What did Jerzy Połomski ask his manager for?
As the “Super Express” portal reminds, Jerzy Połomski died just over a month ago. The artist died at the age of 89. In the last months of his life, he kept in touch only with his manager, to whom he had previously transferred his apartment in exchange for lifetime care. Violetta Lewandowska also committed herself to taking care of the last resting place of the singer.
Jerzy Połomski's departure
Jerzy Połomski never decided to start a family. He had no wife or children. Two of his siblings left before him. Połomski's older sister died in the first half of the year. Only the singer's brother had children. The artist's family did not hide their regret that they were completely removed from the possibility of organizing a funeral.
Połomski's last farewell was organized by his manager. She will also be responsible for taking care of the artist's grave at Warsaw's Powązki Cemetery. In an interview with Fakt, Violetta Lwandowska emphasized that erecting the monument requires the consent of the conservator of monuments, which slightly extends the work.
This is how Jerzy Połomski's game should look like
The problem is also quite limited space. Nevertheless, Lewandowska assured that the design of the tombstone of Jerzy Połomski should be ready by the end of December. “There will be an element of contemporary art on the grave. Jerzy Połomski was not afraid of anything, he was open to everything beautiful” – said Lewandowska.
Violetta Lewandowska admitted that she would like the monument to be made of thick glass. In her opinion, this building material would be perfect against the background of a brick wall. In turn, the lower part of the grave is to be much more classic.
