She says she shares the same attachment to individual freedoms that Mr. Duhaime.

For her part, Lise Couture has been responsible for food for the CPE Les enfants d'abord in Gatineau for 17 years. It is the issue of health that mainly concerns her, including the location of the new hospital in the Outaouais.

Terrence Watters has been a real estate broker for a few years, after having spent 19 years as a manager at the Casino du Lac-Leamy. The defense of individual freedoms and the reduction of state intervention are his two main concerns.

Recall that Mr. Duhaime has promised to present 125 candidates for the 125 ridings in Quebec by the next elections to be held in the fall. During his appearance on the show Les Matins d’icion Wednesday, he mentioned that the Conservative Party of Quebec had experienced significant growth under his leadership.

We went from 500 members to 60,000 members. We are the party that has the largest number of donors this year, we are the ones that collect the most money. We are the party that has experienced the strongest growth in the polls , he said.

In addition, Éric Duhaime proposed suspending the gas tax during of his visit to the Outaouais.

He says he finds it unacceptable that Quebeckers go to Ontario to fill up with gas at a lower cost.
