Valery LEBOVKA, “FACTS”
Democratic Senator from Illinois dick Durbin introduced the legislative body of his country’s draft resolution against the inclusion of Russia in the G7, opposed by the leaders of several countries, including Ukraine.
The decision of the Senator announced his press service, says the “Voice of America”.
The newspaper reminds that Durbin is a co-chair of the group of support of Ukraine in the U.S. Senate.
According to us lawmakers, the US President Donald trump, “instead of having to use all the tools available to repel the Russian threat, our military, our elections, sovereignty and democratic Nations in the world and has sought to normalize U.S. relations and to reward the Kremlin.”
According to Durbin, the document makes clear that the Senate would oppose restoring the “group of eight” with the participation of Russia, if Moscow does not stop “their malicious actions against Ukraine, the U.S. and allies.”
In the text of the resolution says that Russia must “stop its illegal occupation of Crimea and Donbas; to stop malicious acts against the US and its allies; and to stop any remuneration in respect of members of the Armed forces of the United States”.
The White house has not yet responded to the accusations of the Senator from Africa.
The Kremlin has not publicly reacted to the information on the draft resolution.
Recall that in the “Big seven” (the Group of seven) are United States, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK. Russia does not participate in the meetings of the group of seven after the annexation of Ukrainian Crimea in 2014.
For the return of Russia to participate in the meetings of the group of seven from time to time to the President of the United States Donald trump.
Earlier, the “FACTS” I wrote that in December of last year, the House of representatives of the United States Congress adopted a resolution which calls not to return to Russia in the “Big seven”. The document leaders of the countries “Big seven” urged not to support the return of Russia in this influential international club for as long as the country-aggressor deoccupied Ukrainian territory, including annexed Crimea, and will not stop the attacks on democratic States in the world.
