35-year-old British actor Tom Felton admitted that he was addicted to alcohol. Page Six writes about this.

The star of the Harry Potter films has released his own book, “Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Chaos of the Wizard's Growing Up”. In the memoir, “Draco Malfoy” first spoke to fans about his addiction to alcohol and the struggle with it.

According to the British actor, after 20 years, alcohol addiction began to manifest itself more and more actively – he drank several liters of beer a day and several shots of whiskey. Thus, Tom was distracted from the deeper problems in his life.

After noticing celebrity addictions, his manager and agents insisted that Felton be treated in a rehabilitation center, but in less than a day the actor disappeared from the hospital. After some time, he was placed in another center, from which Felton had already been expelled by doctors, because he violated the rules of the institution by visiting the girl's room.

Subsequently, the forced treatment of “Draco” occurred for the third time.

“I can honestly say that this was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make,” admitted Tom Felton.

According to the actor, he no longer hesitates to speak frankly about his problems and needs. Tom Felton notes that people can be sick both physically and mentally, and there is nothing embarrassing about it.

“This is not a sign of weakness,” says the 35-year-old actor.
