It's not the first time Tom Cruise has played a pilot. This time – in a military-patriotic action movie.
Fearless pilot “Maverick” Mitchell has been one of the best pilots in the Navy for more than 30 years. He is always ready for trials, but not to “go down to earth”.
Critics at Cannes, where the film premiered, have already scolded the picture. For what? For militarization, the glorification of military power with a not very intelligible image of the enemy. But in our country everything is clear with the last paragraph.
Therefore, we think that this film will appeal to Ukrainian viewers, especially in the war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, we now have the main ally supplying weapons, namely the United States. In addition, this story resonates well with legends about pilots, like the story of the “ghost of Kyiv”.

This superhero movie was supposed to be shown in the winter. Then they moved the premiere to April. In Ukraine, at that time, the war was already raging with might and main. And finally, in the summer, the hero of Jared Leto – Dr. Morbius got to our screens.
To recover from a rare blood disease, Dr. Michael Morbius decides to conduct a dangerous experiment. A Nobel Prize winner flies with a team of assistants to a tropical island to heal himself with a bat blood vaccine. However, everything predictably turns into a disaster: Morbius becomes a vampire. From it escapes “someone” who craves blood. Hide who can!
“Flashback”/Memory

Alex Lewis is a hitman with a reputation. At some point, he was forced to go against everyone. All because the killer refused to break his moral code. For example, he never touches children.
The picture is reminiscent of the plot immediately known action movie with Jason Statham: “Parker” (2013) and “Defender” (2012). In the first, the hero is a professional thief, guided by unshakable moral principles, for the violation of which no one will be greeted. In the second, his character is a killer who defended the girl from the mafia.
In the case of Neeson, his hero has another irrational component – progressive memory loss. This is the theme of Nolan's early movie “Remember” where the main character loses his memory.
In general, all the best developments are in the new detective story with Liam Neeson.

The dinosaur franchise continues into the 21st century.
After the destruction of the island of Nublar, the dinosaurs broke free and became full-fledged inhabitants of the planet. People manage to maintain the delicate balance that determines peaceful coexistence on Earth. But how long can a man maintain his dominance, living next door to the most terrifying creatures in history? multiplied by five. That's what it says about dinosaurs: “Look, I think they've grown in size.” And, of course, we are waiting for a big floating giant, which was barely shown in the second part.

A film adaptation of the 2004 story of the same name by Joe Hill, which was clearly inspired by the work of Stephen King, or rather, his creation “It”.
In 1978, a serial child killer disguised as a children's party animator is announced in Northern Colorado. Five children go missing. The kidnapper's next victim is 13-year-old Finney Shaw, a shy but smart boy who lives with his alcoholic father and sister Gwen.
Finny wakes up in a soundproof basement. There is a black phone on the wall. And it calls … children killed by a maniac. Their goal is to give Finney as much information as possible about the criminal so that he can escape.
The world premiere of the film took place at the Fantastic Fest on September 25, 2021, critics responded positively to this work. Judging by the trailer, not a masterpiece, but a solid horror picture.

The film tells the story of the life and music of Elvis Presley through the prism of his difficult relationship with producer Colonel Tom Parker. Together they worked for 20 years.
After their meeting in 1955, the young singer Presley became a national star in just a few months. What is the price of such popularity? This question can be answered by Parker, who far outlived his ward.

First, the main characters begin to doubt their plans for the wedding, and then … the bride and groom with the guests together become hostages of stray criminals. But it is clear that the tests will only strengthen the feelings of the couple.
