Police in Toronto are investigating a kidnapping that allegedly took place Saturday evening near the intersection of the Allen and Eglinton thoroughfares. A man allegedly forced a woman into a vehicle.

According to the police, the suspect and the victim allegedly had an argument and the latter allegedly forced her on board before fleeing northbound on Allen Road around 9 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect is believed to be from big build. He was wearing a dark coat, according to police.

The victim is believed to be of Asian origin; she has long straight dark hair. She was wearing a white coat, police say.

Investigators are asking any witnesses and motorists with dash cams who captured the events to contact them.
