The first teaser of the new Toyota Innova has been published. A large seven-seater off-road minivan is due in November. This is reported by the official website of the Japanese brand.

The third generation of Toyota Innova is already being prepared for the premiere and big changes await it. If the current model has a frame structure and is based on the Toyota Hilux pickup truck, then the novelty will receive a load-bearing body and move to the TNGA-C architecture from Toyota Corolla.

Judging by the teaser, Toyota Innova will acquire more off-road features – auto high design, massive bumpers and extended fenders. The wide grille is combined with oblong headlights.

The length of the minivan will be about 4.7 m, and the wheelbase will be 2850 mm. The new platform will significantly increase the interior space. Options include a panoramic roof, wireless charging for smartphones and a surround view camera.

Toyota's minivan will be equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a hybrid installation, but there will be no more diesel versions. They will offer modifications with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive (the predecessor has rear-wheel drive).

The initial price of Toyota Innova will be about $20,000. The geography of the model will also expand. If the Toyota Innova of the first two generations was sold only in Southeast Asia, now it will be presented in a much larger number of countries.
