The new generation of the Toyota Prius mass hybrid will debut in December. And in the spring, the fourth generation Alphard minivan will be presented, which will now be available exclusively in hybrid versions.
Toyota is developing two new hybrids. They should be presented at the end of this year and the beginning of 2023. This is reported by the Japanese site BestCarWeb.
The new Toyota Prius will debut first – it is planned to be shown in December. The fifth-generation hatchback will retain its avant-garde design with a distinctive streamlined silhouette.
Toyota Prius 2023 will be built on the TNGA platform, which is also used by the current generation of the model. As before, it will be available in two versions – as a standard and plug-in hybrid.
In both cases, a 1.8-liter petrol four and an electric motor will be installed, and the battery capacity will be increased. It is also possible that an innovative modification with HBO on hydrogen fuel will appear over time.
And in the spring of 2023, a new Toyota Alphard of the fourth generation will appear. A large five-meter minivan will retain its non-standard design with a huge radiator grille and rich equipment. Hybrid variants are expected with 2.5-liter naturally aspirated and 2.4-liter turbocharged petrol engines.
