Also remember that the motor oil will keep the particles suspended for about two hours after such an encouragement of the motor.

Nevertheless, up to 15% remains in the engine after a standard drain. Accordingly, if you simply pour in new lubricant, metal particles, as well as fragments of soot and ash will remain in the engine, mix with the new lubricant and activate the process of its degradation. After that, the engine is allowed to work for 10-20 minutes at low speeds, and only after that, fresh oil is added. In this case, up to 15% of flushing oil will remain in the motor, which is not intended for high loads, but when mixing this amount of oil with new oil, the quality will not deteriorate at an accelerated rate.

Another interesting way is to change the oil and filter, drive a few hundred kilometers and then do another oil change. In this case, much less harmful deposits will remain in the engine. However, it is also true that you will have to pay double the price for service and oil. However, this method is recommended if the engine is worn and heavily contaminated.

It will be much less expensive to manipulate the remnants of working out using cunning technical methods. The simplest of them is to lift one of the wheels on a jack after draining the oil, without twisting the drain neck. In this way, you can squeeze an additional amount of run-in from the engine.

Blowing out the remains of the old lubricant through the filler neck using a compressor or a blow gun will also give a good effect. At the same time, do not forget to cover the neck with your palm, passing the hose between your fingers. Thus, the pressure affecting the run-off will increase and more will leak out.

Finally, an effective and proven method is to pump out the remnants of the old lubricant using a large veterinary syringe and dropper. The latter is supplied to the engine through the oil dipstick tube. If the syringe is selected relatively small, after each batch is pumped, the tube is disconnected from the syringe, the extracted material is poured into a previously prepared container. imagine what and how you do.
