As a result of the dialogue, the Turkish side stated that the negotiations were held in a constructive and very positive atmosphere, the Anadolu news agency writes.
“The parties discussed approaches to ensuring the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, as well as the export of grain from Ukrainian ports and safe exit of Turkish merchant ships,” the message says.
“An agreement was reached to hold talks between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN to solve this problem. In this context, it was stated that after negotiations with Ukraine and the side The UN is expected to meet the quartet in Turkey in the coming weeks,” the Turkish edition notes.
In addition, it was noted that bilateral negotiations in Moscow had brought the first concrete result. Just a few hours after the end of a lengthy meeting, the Turkish cargo ship Azov Concord left the Ukrainian port. Thus, the Turkish dry cargo ship became the first commercial vessel to leave Mariupol and pass through the blockade of the Russian navy.
Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Fahit Kirishci said on June 7 that Turkey had agreed with Ukraine on grain purchases with more than 25% discount. At the same time, the minister added that Ankara is making great efforts to unblock the export of Ukrainian grain by sea and acts as an intermediary between Ukraine and the Russian Federation in this matter.
