
Two 14-year-old girls found dead after freezing night in northern Manitoba
Autopsies will be performed and RCMP are continuing their investigation.
Two 14-year-old girls have died after being found outside a home in St. Theresa Point First Nation, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) announced Thursday.
The 14-year-old girls were transported to the nursing station, where they were pronounced dead, adds the RCMP. The teenage girls had been outside for some time.
That night, the temperature dropped to around -23 degrees Celsius in the community.
Autopsies will be performed, and the RCMP is continuing its investigation.
