Two dead and one injured after a shooting in the Orleans sector
Numerous police vehicles, as well as ambulances, were dispatched to the scene of a shooting in Orleans which left one dead.
A shooting that occurred in the area of Orleans on Wednesday night killed two men and injured a third. They are Krishel Kanin Murphy-Nimblett, 28, and Mohamed Omar Mohamed, 23.
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) had confirmed the death of a first man on Wednesday evening, specifying that his death was pronounced on the spot.
On Thursday morning, the police force reported in a press release that a second man lost his life. Seriously injured when the police arrived, the man was immediately transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police in x27;Ottawa also advised that the third man suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was even discharged from hospital.
Paramedics said they received a call for a shooting in the area of Tompkins Avenue and Tenth Line Road just before 9 p.m.
Earlier that evening, they had indicated that two people were in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
Through its Twitter account, OPH asked the public not to #x27;approach the area in the evening as a precaution and for the safety of the public.
