
Two women found dead in a vehicle in Shediac
The two women were discovered in a vehicle on the side of a snowy road.
Two women were found dead on Saturday evening in Shediac.
A 59-year-old woman from Notre-Dame and a 35-year-old woman from Bouctouche were inside a vehicle.
According to the captain Julien Boudreau of the Shediac Fire Department, the two women were discovered around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
The vehicle was on Alleluia Road, an unmaintained dirt road and covered with n snow that intersects Riverside Drive.
Corporal Eric Friel, of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in New Brunswick, said Sunday that the deaths did not appear to be the consequence of a criminal act.
Autopsies will be performed in the coming days, he added.
