Ubisoft Forward  : see the first images of Assassin’s Creed Mirage

'Assassin's Creed Mirage' is scheduled for release in 2023.

Ubisoft offered a preview of its upcoming games on Saturday at its Ubisoft Forward conference. Among the most anticipated announcements, players were treated to the first images of Assassin's Creed Mirage, scheduled for 2023.

In a band -Unseen ad, we see Basim Ibn Is'haq travel through the 9th century city of Baghdad and join Those Unseen, a brotherhood of assassins emblematic of the series, after being trained by his mentor Roshan.

It's kind of a homecoming for the series: parkour, stealth and assassination are at the heart of Assassin's Creed Mirage, as it was the case for the very first title, published in 2007.

Ubisoft also talked about other upcoming Assassin's Creed titles: Assassin's Creed Red, which will take place in feudal Japan, and Assassin's Creed Hexe, which is developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the birthplace of the series.

A mobile title by the name of 'Assassin's Creed Jade is also in development. This is a free-to-play action-adventure role-playing game set in ancient China where players can create their own character.

The developer has been sparing with details about the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Infinity, which will tie together different games in the series into one title. He says he plans to offer a multiplayer experience in the universe of the saga.

Ubisoft has also confirmed the release date of Just Dance < /em>2023. Fans of the game will have to wait until November 22 before they can get their hands on the new opus on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The title will also be available later on Stadia.

Players will be able, for the first time in the history of the series, to dance with their comrades online, and form groups of up to six people.

Fans of Just Dancecan practice their movements on the songs Physical (by Dua Lipa), Locked Out of Heaven (by Bruno Mars) or even Can't Stop the Feeling ! (by Justin Timberlake).

Fans of Ubisoft games were also treated to new images of Skull and Bones, a piracy title in which players have to compete to control the Indian Ocean and its treasures.

In a first trailer, we learn more on the historical and socio-economic context of the game, which takes place in the second golden age of piracy, around the 1690s.

A second gameplay-focused trailer showcases ship customization options. These will allow players to navigate the treacherous waters of the Indian Ocean without being shipwrecked, but also to attack their opponents and resist their slingshots.

The game, which has been in development since 2013, will be available on November 8 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
