Junior Song Contest for the first time held in 2003. Only 40 countries took part in it.

Ukraine will take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022, which will be held on December 11 this year in Yerevan. This is reported by the Public.

Soon the national selection will be announced and will begin accepting applications for participation in the competition.

It is worth noting that 14-year-old Malena won last year in Paris from Armenia, in turn, Ukraine was represented by 14-year-old Elena Usenko, originally from Bila Tserkva. The girl with the song Vazhil won sixth place with 125 points.

For Armenia, this is the second victory at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
