The Ukrainian film “My Thoughts are Quiet” won the Discovery Award at the Raindance Film Festival in the UK.

The Raindance Film Festival is an independent film festival in the UK that shows around 100 feature films and 150 short films annually. After participating in this competition, films can be nominated for Oscars and BAFTAs.
The film “My Thoughts Are Quiet” is the debut work of the Ukrainian director Antonio Lukich. The film starred Ukrainian actress Irma Vitovskaya.
The film was shown for the first time on July 4, 2019 at the East of West section of the 54th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where it received a special jury prize. The tape was released in the Ukrainian box office on January 16, 2020.
“My Thoughts Are Quiet” is a lyrical comedy about a guy who goes to Transcarpathia to record the sounds of Ukrainian animals and at the same time restores relations with his mother.
