The Ukrainian clone of the six-wheeled Gelendvagen turned out to be faster than the original, because it received a 630-horsepower V12. It is based on a very rare Mercedes-AMG G65.

It should be noted that several copies of the six-wheeled Gelendvagen have already been built in Zhytomyr – they have already filled their hands, gained the necessary experience and even began to sell off-road vehicles abroad. Specifically, this car was built by order of a client from the USA.

In appearance, the Ukrainian copy is practically no different from the real Mercedes G63 AMG 6X6, produced in an edition of 100 copies. It has real carbon fiber arch extensions, huge off-road tires, steps, a snorkel and arches.

Moreover, portal bridges were purchased specifically for the car, which were used by the original six-wheeled Gelendvagen. Thanks to them, the clearance is 460 mm.

However, if the Mercedes G63 6X6 is equipped with a 5.5-liter 544-horsepower twin-turbo V8, then the Zhytomyr SUV received a turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 with 630 hp. With. The fact is that a very rare 2017 Mercedes-AMG G65 was used as a donor model. Therefore, the Ukrainian clone of the Gelendvagen turned out faster than the original.

By the way, the six-wheeled Mercedes G-Class is being built not only in Zhytomyr. A similar project was recently implemented in Lutsk.
