IN BRIEF
- On Saturday, January 4, Ulysse, a candidate from Star Academy, was eliminated before the semi-finals, leaving Marine to face Charles.
- Marine won her place in the final after a remarkable performance against Charles, who performed “SOS from an earthling in distress”.
- Ulysse has lived an intense adventure and has notably lost 5 kilos, approximately.
This Saturday, January 11, our colleagues at Purepeople published an exclusive interview with Ulysse, an emblematic candidate of the new promotion of the Star Academy. The latter was eliminated last week, without securing his place for the semi-finals. It was thus Marine who faced Charles this Saturday, January 11, and Ebony who will face Franck the following Saturday.
Yesterday, Marine won her place in the final after a high-level prime against Charles, who did not deserve. The young 18-year-old artist shone in particular with his interpretation of SOS from an earthling in distress, whose accuracy and power have echoed the performance of Grégory Lemarchal, in 2004.

Ulysse, one of Charles's best friends in the adventure, was also present to support his ‘brother’, and did not manage to hide his disappointment when Nikos announced his elimination, although he was happy for his other friend, Marine.
While he gave an interview to our colleagues from the Purepeople website, Ulysse also revealed that he had lost weight during his adventure, which may recall an old interview with Pierre Garnier, winner of last season, who also admitted having lost weight during his adventure.
Ulysse “The pace is quite sustained”
The Marseille rock singer has indeed explained : “It's true that I've lost a lot of weight. I think I've lost 5 kilos, I haven't weighed myself since I got out. I didn't think it would be so physical. I don't know if we realize it, but the pace is quite sustained. We are rehearsing all the time, we try to sleep as we can in the evening and as soon as we can, we rest, but it's quite intense“, he declared.
Regarding his adventure, the singer had also told Purepeople that he had had trouble getting used to community life, as he often made it clear : “At the beginning, there were 15 of us, so it was necessarily noisy all the time. It was hard to find time for ourselves. Gradually, there were fewer and fewer people and we got used to it. So it's more and more simple“, he explained. The young Marseille player will have lived a great adventure with his comrades, and is now preparing to join them for the tour.
