“Ultimately , it was his personal decision,” a senior administration official explained. “He decided that the proposed security measures were appropriate. We agreed on them and implemented them.”
The head of the Ukrainian state plans to immediately return to Ukraine after his speech in Congress. The visit is expected to last only a few hours. He flew to the United States from the Polish airport in Rzeszow.
Local media filmed a video with Zelensky at the train station in Peremishl, a city located near the Ukrainian border. It is reported that the footage was filmed on Wednesday, December 21, but the filming location is not named.
