Another proof that Vikings does not do things by chance.
While we recently gave you the words of the showrunner of season 6 of Vikings who justified the necessary death of a character, it is the death of another character that we will talk about today . As always, watch out for big spoilers if you still haven’t seen the final episodes of Season 6 – which is also the last of the series. Because it is about the death of Bjorn Ironside, son of Ragnar, that we are going to speak and in particular of a scene from season 2 of Vikings who had already revealed the mythical, not to say mystical, death of the young man. In this scene Floki talks to King Horik, whom he wants to trap with Ragnar.

When it comes to getting rid of Ragnar and Bjorn, Horik tells Floki: “Bjorn Ironside is a difficult man to kill. Maybe the Gods are protecting him.”. And this is clearly what we saw happen in the first episodes of the 2nd part of season 6 of Vikings. Bjorn, who had been seriously injured by his brother Ivar, managed to survive not only his injury, but also arrows fired by the Russian camp to finish him off as he launched a new offensive with his army. By being so difficult to kill, Bjorn gave the impression that he was immortal and, indeed, protected by the Gods.. Even if this unfortunately did not last, it must be recognized that this masterful death will remain in the memory of the fans for a long time yet.
