Home-jacking: the new phobia of stars
The last suspect, Khyed M., nicknamed “Ben Laden” is suspected of having ordered the attempted home-jacking of Anne-Sophie Lapix and her family. This took place in January 2024, in their mansion in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. He is said to have recruited people on Signal, an encrypted messaging service, to give his directives in real time.
In June 2024, he was indicted for these alleged facts. According to information from Parisien, in a communication intercepted by investigators from the Paris Banditry Repression Brigade (BRB), “Ben Laden” had mentioned the “two Birkins [Hermès handbags]” stolen from Vitaa. Home-jacking is definitely a vast network that scares the stars.
