Russian diplomats ask the Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres to help close the Ukrainian website “Peacemaker”, where information about those who have signs of crime is entered against the foundations of the national security of Ukraine, according to the creators. Such an appeal was made by the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN Security Council, RIA Novosti reports.

According to diplomats, the Myrotvorets website violates human rights and commits criminal activities.

“We ask you to take the necessary steps to draw the attention of the Ukrainian authorities to the criminal activities of the Myrotvorets project and force them to close it”, he said.

The authors of the letter also stated that not only adults, but also children are entering the platform.

“Russia raised this issue twice in letters to the former head of UNICEF, Henrietta Fore, but the organization's participation was very formal and did not change the situation,” the Russian media write.

In turn, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said, that he gave Guterres information about 327 minors whose personal data is published on the platform.

The Peacemaker website: what is known about it?

The project was created in the spring of 2014 at the initiative of the head's adviser Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko. The organization collects and publishes information about people whose actions “have clear signs of crimes and offenses and are aimed at undermining the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.”

The platform contains data on Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine. In addition, the site added Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Ukrainian boxers Oleksandr Usyk and Vasily Lomachenko, Ukrainian producer Yuriy Bardash and other public people to its ranks.

The database also includes Viktor Medvedchuk's wife, TV presenter Oksana Marchenko. She was accused of financing terrorists and Russian invaders.
