    More: Rocket Park is a huge exhibit on the grounds of the New York Hall of Science. It features two major symbols of the US space program: the original Atlas booster with a replica of the Mercury capsule and the original Titan II booster with a replica of the Gemini double capsule.

    Rocket Park even has an interactive replica of the Friendship 7 Mercury capsule that allows visitors to climb inside and experience the atmosphere in which the Mercury astronauts carried out their missions.

    The exhibition describes in words and pictures the history of rockets and the evolution of the space program USA.

    Where: Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Between Grand Central Pkwy and Van Wyck Expy, 11354

    More: This year the festival celebrates its 32nd anniversary and invites guests to come with their families. Multicultural artists, dancers and musicians from all over the world will demonstrate their art on the main stage.

    In addition, there will be performances by Shaolin monks. The festival will feature demonstrations of traditional Asian folk crafts and handicrafts. The updated food court will offer dishes from several different ethnic cuisines. The main event will be dragon boat races. Many old and new teams will take part in them.
