What is this new Apple Watch that could (still) save lives ?

And apparently, Apple plans to continue to focus on health to promote its smartwatches. Although the next versions of the Apple Watch will not be released for several months, some rumors are already circulating about them. And according to one of these rumors, Apple could equip the Apple Watch 11 and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 with sensors capable of detecting hypertension.

According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman's latest newsletter, the Apple Watch 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 are expected to have the same design, but offer new features. And among these new features, there could be high blood pressure detection. Gurman also mentions 5G connectivity, as well as satellite communication, for the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The company could also launch a new version of the Apple Watch SE, which could benefit from a new design.

News for the Health app and AirPods ?

In the same publication, the Bloomberg journalist indicates that Apple would be working on a redesign of the Health app, as well as on new health features for the AirPods. In essence, the firm could develop new sensors related to health monitoring for its wireless headphones.

But, as usual, this information should be considered with caution, since it comes from unofficial sources. Furthermore, it is possible that Apple’s new health features will not be immediately available worldwide, since such developments require the green light of local authorities.

Otherwise, Gurman’s latest newsletter also corroborates rumors that Apple will release the iPhone 17 Air in 2025.
