The first renders and spy photos of the second generation Skoda Kodiaq have been published. The crossover is currently undergoing tests and should be presented at the end of 2023 or in 2024. This is reported by the site Motor.es.
The new Skoda Kodiaq will be built on the MQB Evo platform, like the current model, but will grow a little in size. In addition, the design of the car will become more expressive.
On the render, the Skoda Kodiaq 2024 has a wide grille and oblong headlights in the spirit of Octavia. The front bumper has become more massive. The appearance is still dominated by edges, and the sidewalls remain embossed.
The Skoda Kodiaq crossover will become more spacious inside. The model, as before, will be available in versions for 5 and 7 seats. The line will retain the expensive Laurin & Klement, the sporty RS and the off-road Scout.
Most likely, the new Skoda Kodiaq will retain the 1.5 and 2.0 liter petrol turbo engines, as well as the two-liter turbodiesel, but they will be supplemented by 48 -volt “soft” hybrid installation.
In addition, two rechargeable hybrids will appear in the line at once. Their electric power reserve will be up to 100 km.
