Influencer Andrew Tate is convicted of fraud in the UK and is accused of multiple sex crimes by Romania. The masculinist billionaire is nevertheless targeting 10 Downing Street.
Name: Andrew Tate. Bio: Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. This is how the masculinist influencer now presents himself on his X account, followed by more than 10 million people. At the beginning of January, explains The Guardian, the billionaire created his own party, Bruv, and announced that he was running for the top role at 10 Downing Street. Bruv, the acronym for Britain Restoring Underlying Values, means: “Britain is restoring its underlying values.” Andrew Tate presents himself as the saviour of the country and laments that “the streets are dangerous, the borders are wide open, and our culture ? It is eroding.”
This is far from the first time that Andrew Tate has made headlines. As early as 2015, he had been the target of reports of sexual violence, notes France Info. A former kickboxer, he had been ejected from a competition for being filmed hitting a young woman with a belt.
In 2017, with his brother Tristan Tate, he finally settled in Romania. It was via social networks that he became a widely followed masculinist influencer. In 2022, Andrew Tate was arrested as part of an investigation into the filming of pornographic films. He allegedly forced young women to participate. In 2024, Romania requested a trial and accused him of setting up a criminal network. The Romanian justice system estimated the number of victims at 16.
Andrew Tate released a few days ago
The influencer is also accused of having had sexual relations with a 15-year-old minor. He has always denied the facts and denounced a “political plot”. Under house arrest since last year, he was released a few days ago while the case is still ongoing.

This does not prevent Andrew Tate from now wanting to position himself on the political spectrum, preferably on the far right. Still according to The Guardian, the influencer promises intensive immigration control as a first commitment. Then comes the fight against knife attacks that have been spreading in several London neighborhoods for several years. To deter perpetrators, he wants to permanently broadcast, via the BBC, videos of delinquents or criminals in solitary confinement: “no redemption, no second chance. Just the cold, hard reality of a life wasted in a concrete cell.” He also wants to allow the carrying of weapons and impose boxing lessons on schoolchildren.
The billionaire also has ambitions to reform the BBC by launching, among other things, “community notes”, such as those set up on the social network X. To understand: users participate in fact-checking. Unsurprisingly, Andrew Tate also wants to attack “LGBTQ + propaganda” and restore traditional family values. To illustrate his point ? Finally, in order to maintain the UK's cultural heritage, the controversial influencer wants to replace modern art with older works and adorn the country with its flag wherever possible. And also to bet on the promotion of entrepreneurship from school, massive investment and the cessation of certain aid for foreign countries. To defend his ideas, the thirty-year-old launched a slogan: “no more foreign aid, no more foreign wars.” To date, his party's account has gathered 150,000 subscribers on X .
