Problems, as always, from ignorance.
< p>You cannot find a car now, where there is no microfiber in the pocket or trunk – a convenient and practical, cheap and functional rag, capable of solving many problems in our weather and road situations. However, despite its popularity, not everyone knows how to use it, informs Ukr.Media.
Many have, but not many know, that microfiber is not just a cheap colored cloth sold at hardware and automotive stores. It is not customary for us to read the instructions, so we use only intuition, and everything is simple there: a rag – rub. However, specifically with microfiber, this sometimes leads to very sad consequences.
Yes, it does not leave separations and fabric hairs. Yes, it perfectly removes moisture and copes with foggy windows. By the way, it also does a good job of removing sweat from the face and lasts for a long time, especially if you periodically wash it and don't wipe off the oily streaks. But microfiber also has its own features that you should be aware of.
First of all, it is the environment. Microfiber is designed to remove moisture, so the main task is to collect liquid. Microfiber is a super towel that collects water. That is, you need to spread the fabric over the puddle, and then pull it on yourself, collecting the liquid. Emphasis on the word “collects'': it cannot be rubbed! This approach can easily leave scratches on the thin paint layer of the car, and sometimes very, very deep ones. Microfiber cannot be used to wipe off stains and traces of insect and bird life, because then it will have to be polished and painted. And the miracle rag should always work “on water”. That is, by wiping off the dust, you can easily wipe off the family budget as well.
You should not rub the films and glasses of glasses with a classic microfiber – they will very quickly get scratches, which will be difficult to remove later. When removing dirt from headlights, especially in winter, you should not be surprised and swear at the manufacturer – he did not rub the plastic to a matte state. It is unlikely that you will be able to wipe the windshield until it is visibly damaged, but it is easy to wipe the plastic radiator grill, chrome nameplate or overlay. And it won't take many "approaches" – one will be enough, but a successful one.
In a word, microfiber is not as simple as it seems. It is "complicated" synthetic fabric, the pile of which is ten times thinner than a human hair. Microfiber is the case when it is really worth studying the instructions first, and then apply it strictly according to the directions.
By the way, the most popular myth about "fiber" – it cannot be washed. You can! But only strictly according to the Instructions, without washing powder and in cold water.
