More Thirty years after the original film, Willow Ufgood returns in Willow, a series full of magic from Disney+.

Because of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and thanks to House of the Dragon, we can say that the end of this year 2022 marked a certain return to fantasy, and we are not going to complain about it. After Amazon Prime and HBO, it's now Disney+'s turn to unveil its long-awaited fantasy series with Willow, the sequel to the movie Willow.

Directed in 1988 by Ron Howard from an original story by George Lucas, who produced the film, Willow is now considered a cult cinema object. Considered revolutionary thanks to its impressive special effects, Above all, it has become a generational film like The Neverending Story and Dark Crystal. If fans of the film were perhaps worried that a series would come to spoil Ron Howard's film, the latter is indeed present in the production and judging by the new trailer, the Willow series is also announced epic than the original.

The best idea of this series is obviously to bring backWillow Ufgood, the young magician Nelwyn and hero of the first film, always played by Warwick Davis. If he played several characters in the various Star Wars productions and of course played Professor Filius Flitwick and the goblin Griphook in the Harry Potter films, the actor is still today inseparable from his role in Willowfirst of the name, his return is therefore very good news. Halfway between epic and comic, this new trailer is quite promising.

The series will take place several years after the events of the first film and once again, Willow Ufgood will have to try to save the kingdom and restore peace. This time around, he'll team up with little kids, played by Ruby Cruz (Mare of Easttown), Erin Kellyman (Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Ellie Bamber (The Serpent), Amar Chadha-Patel (The Third Day) and Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel).< /p>

Warwick Davis is not the only one from the soundtrack to return since Joanne Whalley will reprise her role as Sorsha, Kevin Pollak will once again be Rool, and Rick Overton will still be Franjean. Actors Ralph Ineson and Christian Slater also joined the cast. Willow is headed by Wendy Mericle, writer and producer of the Arrow series, and Jon Kasdan, who co-wrote Solo: A Star Wars Story strong> with his father Lawrence Kasdan, himself the screenwriter of several episodes of the Star Wars saga.

To find out if magic is still present, we won't have to wait very long since Willow arrives on November 30, 2022 on Disney+.
