Windsor Police double reward for solving 20-year-old murders

Debilleanne Williamson and her four-year-old son, Brandon Rucker, were found dead on February 27, 2003. The reward for information that will lead to the arrest of those responsible has been increased from $20,000 to $40,000.

< p class="e-p">The Windsor Police Service and the Windsor Police Services Board have announced they are doubling the reward for information that will lead to the arrest of those responsible for the murders of Debilleanne Williamson and of four-year-old Brandon Xavier Rucker.

Mrs. Williamson and her son were found dead exactly 20 years ago in their home on Tilston Drive.

< p class="e-p">Ms Williamson was found beaten to death in the basement of the house, while Xavier's body was discovered in the downstairs bathroom, police said in a statement.

< p class="e-p">The reward had already been doubled in 2019 to $20,000. After today's announcement, the reward is now $40,000 for information that will allow [police] to bring the killer(s) to justice.

We hope the extra reward money will inspire [people with information] to come forward and say what they know, says Daniel Potvin, Superintendent of Investigations.< /p>

Even a little piece of information that someone thinks is trivial can be the missing piece of evidence that will allow our investigations to connect the dots and finally solve this mystery, he says .
