La malle à Pat : la nouvelle boutique-friperie

C’est une adresse pour ceux et celles qui aiment chiner et trouver le vêtement à moindre coût. Une nouvelle enseigne s’est ouverte dans la commune : la Malle à Pat. Installée au 35, avenue du Muscat depuis octobre, Patricia Viola accueille ses clients dans sa boutique nouvellement aménagée.

Elle explique ce projet : “After a conventional break, I set myself a personal challenge to succeed on my own, to live my dreams rather than dream my life! I emptied my closets and sold the clothes I no longer wore. This gave me the idea to open a thrift store after a market study that showed me that the Frontignanais interviewed were in demand. I want to give a second life to clothes by allowing people to dress at a lower cost, and without going all the way to Montpellier.”

Patricia Viola has spent her entire career in commerce. With an entrepreneurial certification diploma and training in social networks, she found a location, decorated it tastefully in iron and wood for a warm industrial side that perfectly matches the boutique's proposition and welcomes customers with her good humor.

“A need for businesses to bring the city to life”

“This boutique is an opportunity for those who want to limit their expenses while having fun. We need businesses in Frontignan to bring the city to life.” The shopkeeper stocks up with the consignment system or by buying lots.

From children's clothing, women's clothing in small and large sizes to men's clothing, she offers a wide range of range to which are added accessories, shoes, bags, scarves. “We are on second hand but everything is washed and ironed. And some have never even been worn. Sometimes, we buy a garment on impulse and we don't even wear it, that's the usefulness of this thrift store. We have to follow the desire of the customers. I call back regular customers to tell them that I found the item they were missing and I have a storage place to sort by season. The customer base is starting to become loyal and word of mouth is working”, says Patricia Viola.

She plans to do the Frontignan markets on Thursdays and Saturdays to make herself known and reach a wider audience. Latest idea: she is considering renting out wedding dresses and evening wear.
