According to Marwan, the founder of a company that helps victims of online scams, the scammer is from Nigeria.
The latter, who was asked by TF1 to give his expert opinion, says he managed to identify the web pirate thanks to the banking information and the tracking of the money that Anne sent. He then forwarded him a link which the man in Nigeria clicked on, allowing him to access his phone.
