A woman was suffocated on Tuesday morning in a licensed establishment on Léger Boulevard, in the Montreal-Nord borough, when her scarf got caught in a conveyor.

According to preliminary information we have, the woman was moving cases of alcohol when her scarf got caught in the rollers of a conveyor used to move goods.

Resuscitation maneuvers had to be performed on the woman, who was transported to hospital in serious condition.
