As the “Interia” portal reminds, the government has prepared support for people who heat their apartments with electricity. It is with them in mind that the electric supplement was introduced. Applications for it can be submitted from Thursday, December 1. Who can get support up to PLN 1,500? Who will not be entitled to it?
Recruitment of applications for an electric allowance is launched
Estimates show that up to 800,000 people will be able to benefit from the electric allowance. households in our country. Applications can be submitted from Thursday, December 1 of this year to February 1, 2023. It should be remembered that the supplement is paid once and its amount depends on electricity consumption.
In the case of persons whose energy consumption is within the limit of up to 5 MWh in 2021, they can count on a supplement of PLN 1,000. After exceeding this limit, the amount of the supplement will be PLN 1,500. However, it should be remembered that we must attach a settlement to the application, which will confirm higher consumption.
Who can count on the electricity allowance?
In order to apply for the electricity allowance, it is necessary to indicate electricity as the main source of heating in the Central Register of Emissions of Buildings. Please note that officials can control the information contained in the declaration and application.
Persons who have previously downloaded an allowance for another heating source will not receive the supplement. Those who refuse to allow officials to conduct an environmental interview will not be able to use it. Finally, people who use photovoltaics cannot apply for the allowance.
How to submit an application?
Application for the electric allowance can be submitted in person at the relevant commune office. It can also be done electronically via a trusted profile or ePUAP.
In the application, you must provide your name and surname, prove the source of heat for electricity, as well as the bank account number to which the electric allowance will be sent.
