You'll be able to play The Sims 4 for free starting in October
The popular game “The Sims 4” will be free starting in October.
After selling millions of copies, the popular simulation game The Sims 4 will be free to play on October 18 on console and PC.
Developer EA also has a gift for players who have already purchased The Sims 4 since its release almost 8 years ago: everyone can get the new deluxe item set in the desert at no cost, provided you claim it by October 17 from the game's main menu.
Note that the free version of Sims 4 will only include the base title. Fans of the franchise will therefore still have to pull out the wallet if they want to enrich their gaming experience with one of the many expansions available, such as The Sims 4 : Discover University > or The Sims 4 : Dogs and Cats.
While the game The Sims 4 is about to go free, our team is committed to creating new and meaningful The Sims 4 experiences for our players, and will continue to develop packs [expansions, editor's note], kits[set of objects, editor's note] and The Sims Express deliveries [updates, editor's note] soon, promises the developer EA in a press release.
EA will provide an update on the future of Sims 4 during its livestream Behind The Sims Summit, which will air on October 18 in the evening.
