This Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Yann Barthès received Gad Elmaleh who came to promote his one-man show but also Vincent Lindon, Benjamin Voisin and Stefan Crépon, who play in the film Playing with fire. The opportunity for the first actor to confide in the passing of time. “They reminded me of things that will never happen to me again”, he begins by indicating about the activities that the two young actors do and that he no longer feels capable of.

“It's super nostalgic”, says Yann Barthès. But Vincent Lindon doesn't seem to agree with this observation: “No, not at all. I didn't invent anything, I think. It's just that I talk about it but you're the same as me… You've aged…”, he says Yann Barthès.

And the actor takes the opportunity to tackle the host: “I watched the shows ten years ago”, continues Vincent Lindon. But out of the question for Yann Barthès to let it happen : “You too have aged since L'Étudiante”,he retorts, referring to his role in this 1988 feature film. And there you have it. But for Vincent Lindon, saying out loud that time passes allows him to accept it better.

It is also by collaborating with young people that he manages to transmit beautiful values. The actor does not lose his sense of humor, especially when he talks to the two young actors who are at his side. 

The actor apologizes to the host

But with Gad Elmaleh by his side, Vincent Lindon lost his nerve somewhat. Indeed, as soon as the comedian arrived, he declared : “It's over, it's not worth it, don't try things. A little modesty, we're crush, we're “listening”, he says. Gad Elmaleh later revealed that he failed the conservatory.

And here is his neighbor replying: “Çit's always classy when you're a big star to say that you missed something. You imagine the talent I have ? You got through it! I know well”, he continues. But sometimes, the actor cuts the comedian off too often. So much so that he realizes it on his own and apologizes to the actor and to Yann Barthès.
