John Krasinski's tormented casting

The actor's audition went pretty badly according to the Huff Post. He was originally supposed to play Dwight, but he eventually convinced the casting directors to read a few lines from Jim. While he was in the waiting room, a man asked him if he was nervous. John Krasinski's response:

You know, not really. You either have that or you don't. But what really makes me nervous is this show. It's just that I love the British show so much and the Americans tend to screw up those adaptations. I don't know how I'm going to handle it if they ruin this show.

The man then replied “My name is Greg Daniels, I'm the executive producer (the big boss Ed.)” . We know the rest, the actor will eventually be hired, he will be excellent and it will really take off his career.

What the actors were doing on their computers

According to the fan site Dunderpedia, the computers used in the series were actually connected to the Internet. The actors that we see “working” in the background must have been busy online. It should also be noted that the first season was filmed in a real office building in California.
