When are the Olympic Games athletics events held?
Athletics will be held from Thursday 1st to Sunday 11th August.
Where athletics events will take place ?
Athletics will take place at the Stade de France, in Saint-Denis for all events, at the exception of the marathon, which will start from the Hôtel de Ville in Paris, and the 20-kilometer walk, which will start from the Pont d'Iéna.
The final selection of the list of athletes participating in the athletics events will be published on July 8, 2024 (May 14 for the marathon). However, some athletes have already achieved the Olympic minimums and are expected to be included in the list, which allows a maximum of three athletes per discipline. 50% of places will be allocated by the minimums, and 50% via the world ranking.
