Last January, Sven-Gouml;ran Eriksson revealed that he had terminal, incurable pancreatic cancer. This announcement then caused emotion in the world of football. The Liverpool club notably realized “their dream” by allowing him to coach the Reds in a charity match in March 2024. A few days ago, the Swedish coach delivered a farewell message in the documentary dedicated to him by the platform Prime Video. “I think we are all afraid of the day we die, but life is also death,” he confided. I hope that at the end people will say, yes, he was a good man, but not everyone will say that. I hope you will remember me as a positive man who tried to do everything he could do.
