The latter now have two sensors placed vertically as was the case for the old iPhone 11 or 12. This allows in particular the iPhone 16 to shoot spatial videos that can be viewed with an Apple Vision Pro headset. As has been the case for several years now, the iPhone 16 Plus has the same new features as the classic iPhone 16, but in a larger format and with a better battery than its basic counterpart. On the power side, the iPhone 16 is equipped with of the new A18 chip which would be a jump of 15 to 20% in power compared to the previous generation according to Apple. However, it will be necessary to test this on games and demanding operations to verify it. Apple spent most of its evening highlighting its artificial intelligence called “Apple Intelligence” and directly integrated into the iPhone 16. Unfortunately, the latter will not be available in Europe at its launch due to European regulations. Apple has already announced that its AI will only be available in English in 2024 and will offer other languages next year. In addition to the classic iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus, Apple spent a large part of its keynote on Monday, September 9, unveiling the new iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The latter first take up the new features of the first two models, but add a few exclusives to encourage their purchase. First off, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are larger than their predecessors with screens ranging from 6.3 to 6.9 inches for Apple's largest iPhone ever. Four colors are also announced with black, white, natural gray and sand gold.
