If we had to create a list of the titles that have had the greatest impact on the world of video games in the 2010s, Flappy Bird would definitely be on this list. As a reminder, this mobile game was created in 2014 by a Vietnamese developer named Dong Nguyen. But while it had accumulated several tens of millions of downloads on iOS and Android, Flappy Bird was removed by its developer, less than a year after its launch. But the good news for those who were addicted to this game is that Flappy Bird will be back.
Flappy Bird Returns With New Developer
The news was announced by a new developer, the Flappy Bird Foundation, which considers itself a team of passionate fans, and has reportedly acquired the trademark and rights to the video game. “Thanks to my Flappy Bird super fans, I am refreshed, invigorated, and ready to soar again. The mission, which lasted ten years, involved acquiring the legal rights and even working with my predecessor to free myself from the cage and hatch the official Flappy Bird game again!”, reads the video game’s new X account.
I AM BACK!!
Just a decade ago, I was the talk of the town and soaring to new heights with my 100 million friends. Sadly, I had to leave the fame and spotlight behind to go home and find out who I really am.

According to IGN, the developer of this new Flappy Bird plans to launch a web version in October, then a version for Android and iOS in 2025. Compared to the original game, the new Flappy Bird Foundation should offer something richer, with new game modes, for example.
A simple and basic game, but very addictive
While it was extremely simple, the Flappy Bird game was also extremely hard and very addictive. And it is this formula that allowed the title to be a hit on mobile platforms. In fact, after the announcement of Flappy Bird’s return, one netizen commented: “Labor productivity is about to slow down again worldwide.”
Work productivity is about to take a downturn again worldwide. 😂
