Demanding loudly for years by the fans, the PC version of the first Red Dead Redemption will finally be released in a few days.

A true monument of video games, Red Dead Redemption celebrated its 14th anniversary this year. After having made the heyday of the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360, the legendary title of Rockstar Games will finally arrive on PC with an official port to coming Tuesday, October 29, 2024. This version will also include several new features, particularly in terms of graphics and resolution.

It was on its official social networks that the Rockstar Games studio announced the upcoming release of Red Dead Redemption on PC. With a trailer dedicated to the port, the studio also announces the addition of a native 4K resolution and support for Ultra-wide and Super Ultra-wide PC displays. This port will be fully compatible with the keyboard/mouse combo, but also with the DLSS 3.7 display technology of Nvidia graphics cards and FSR 3.0 of AMD cards.

Red Dead Redemption on PC will also benefit from its DLC “Undead Nightmare” originally released a few months after the original game. This additional content allows you to rediscover the world of Red Dead Redemption after a virus has transformed the inhabitants into zombies.
