Davis Cup 2024: Nadal's last dance, dates and broadcast in France

Rafael Nadal will be on a tennis court one last time for the Davis Cup finals.

On Thursday, October 10, Rafael Nadal announced his retirement on social media through a long video. Beyond his retirement, the Spanish player especially announced that he would participate in the Davis Cup final for the last tournament of his career. “I am very excited to announce that my last appearance will be in the Davis Cup final to represent my country. I came full circle with my first great memory, which was the Davis Cup final in Seville in 2004. I feel very, very lucky to have experienced all of that,” explained the 22-time Grand Slam winner.

This Davis Cup final phase will pit the eight nations that qualified during the group stage against each other, without France, which was eliminated a few months ago. Spain, Italy, the United States, Argentina, Australia, the Netherlands, Canada and Germany will be there.
