While he published a message of support to his teammates before kick-off: “Good game” the Frenchman was therefore in Sweden and not resting or getting treatment. The newspaper Aftonbladet published several photos of Mbappe, masked and wearing a cap, in the streets of the Swedish capital accompanied by close friends, including Nordi Mukiele, his former PSG teammate. Mbappe reportedly went to the restaurant “Chez Jolie”, a luxury establishment specializing in French cuisine, and the small group was then photographed going up to board a van to head to the V***** nightclub, in the Stureplan district. According to some witnesses on site, the player had privatized a space.
Of course, the Frenchman was entitled to free time during his non-selection, he who works hard physically at Real to get back into shape, but this fuels a real unease between the captain of the Blues and the selection.
