Holiday weather details! There will be 2 days of good weather not to be missed before All Saints' Day

The All Saints' Day holidays start this Saturday October 19th. Will the weather allow us to enjoy it? ? The dates to be chosen are decisive.

This Saturday, October 19th, marks the start of the All Saints' Day school holidays. These last two weeks will last until November 3rd. Vacationers are hoping to enjoy decent weather, after the many episodes of rain that have marked the last few weeks. During this first half of October, precipitation has, in fact, been surplus of 51%, with a deficit of sunshine of 20%, according to La Chaine Météo. A scenario that vacationers do not want to relive in this second part of the month, even if at this time, they do not expect extraordinary weather.

The first forecasts have been released and they are not very encouraging, at least not for everyone. The weekend that will open the holidays will be punctuated by by grey skies and slightly lower temperatures. On Sunday, some clearings could still prevail in the south and east.

Holiday weather details! There will be 2 days of good weather not to be missed before All Saints' Day

For the week of 21 to October 27, La Chaine météoopts for an “optimistic” scenario. An anticyclone could reduce disturbances and allow for calmer weather. However, disturbances could persist in the northwest, near the Channel. Same observation for Météo-France in its trends: "the weather should improve and dry out during the week. Temperatures remain a little mild for the season".

The weather forecast site still predicts nice days. And it even takes the risk of outlining two dates at not to be missed for a stay or an outing: it is Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 October that the best weather (or the least bad shall we say) should be on almost the entire country. It will therefore be necessary to take advantage of it, especially since the week will end with the change of time, which will shorten the days.

This respite could also be short-lived. Atlantic depressions are expected for the second week of rest. “The flow could be oriented to the northwest sector, with therefore a much cooler, colder and humid atmosphere”, predicts La Chaine Météo. Very sad news for vacationers and those who hoped to enjoy the November 1st long weekend. However, the sun could persist in the south. Given the delay, these details remain to be confirmed.
