The Parisian tournament of Paris-Bercy began on Saturday October 26 and ends on Sunday October 3 ;November for the final.

The first round of the Paris-Bercy tournament offered a nice gift to the Parisian spectators with the qualification of Adrian Mannarino against the 39;American Tommy Paul. The French veteran, in difficulty since the beginning of the year, may have achieved his performance of the season by winning in two sets (6-3, 7-5) and 1h42 of play.

Ugo Humbert, 18th in the world, also qualified on Monday for the second round of the Masters 1000 in Paris thanks to his 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 victory against the American Brandon Nakashima (35th). Winner after a fight lasting more than two hours, the Metz native will challenge the other American Marcos Giron (49th) in the 2nd round, who beat the Chinese Shang Juncheng on Monday. In the event of victory in the 2nd round, Ugo Humbert could meet world number 2 Carlos Alcaraz in the round of 16… Another piece of good news is that Arthur Rinderknech (61st in the world) started the competition well against Tomas Machac, taking advantage of his opponent's withdrawal.

On the day's schedule, Arthur Fils, who had a fantastic end to the season, is expected to face Croatian Marin Cilic, as is the recent winner over Bale, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
