The former (and future) first lady of the United States was, however, seen at Donald Trump's side when he went to vote on Tuesday. But on social media, conspiracy theories are flying: it's a “fake Melania”.

Was the wife of the future American president replaced by a lookalike? ? “If it's Melania, I'm the Queen of Sheba” ; “This woman just voted pretending to be Melania Trump” ; “Why did Trump use a fake Melania today” ? “For Internet users, it's definitely not her in the photos and videos. “What gives the game away is that she's smiling,” one can read on X. The fact that she keeps her sunglasses on inside the polling station would be further evidence supporting this hypothesis. However, she posted a message on the X network of her visit to the polling station. With a link to a photo of her son Barron Trump, voting “for the first time – for his father.” Enough to silence the rumors ?
