Pascal Bataille wants to make his fight a strength. This Friday, December 6, it was on his Instagram account that he revealed, in a video, that he had lung cancer.A few hours later, he was present on the set of It starts today, decided to talk about his experience with the disease. He confided in particular that he was expecting a major operation. “I will undergo, if all goes well, an operation in January to remove part of my lung”, he revealed Pascal Bataille. An operation that could change his life.

Pascal Bataille confides that he is fully aware that this is not “trivial and there are risks, it is the problem of cancer, of recurrence”. However, the host assures that he is very confident. I didn't try to make predictions, I just know that I'm going to recover, he said. So, after several important appointments and chemotherapy, Pascal Bataille should be operated on at the beginning of 2025. “If all goes well, that the tumor has shrunk, we will operate at the beginning of January. Afterwards I will be like a young man to come back to see you and tell you that everything is fine”, he said   Faustine Bollaert.

Pascal Bataille is one of the public figures who have chosen transparency. Pascal Bataille is aware that his life could have taken a tragic turn quickly but he prefers to focus only on the positive. “There are some more or less serious ones and I want to talk about them because I think that we must carry a message of optimism, of positivityé”, he said before continuing:  “I'm in great spirits”. Thanks to the support of his loved ones, the host is ready to fight against this disease. To do this, he follows a very precise protocol, which which combines immunotherapy, a new technique that works well, and classic chemotherapy”. Quite intense sequences.

Pascal Bataille: “I'm sure it's going to go”

It was a very positive host who appeared on the set of the show. Far from being downcast, Pascal Bataille confided that the chemotherapy sessions are intense. “They last five hours. I am sitting in an armchair among many other people who are going through the same misadventure as me, sometimes in unfortunately much more dramatic states”, he explained. For the moment, Pascal Bataille is tolerating the treatment well and he is happy about it while maintaining his optimism “I am sure that çit will be fine” , he concluded.
