Caught cold, the Angels suffered during the first points, 0-3 then 1-5, before starting the machine to gradually come back (10-10). The Biterroises are, from then on, in the lead, without being able to completely let go of an opponent who is hanging on: 18-16. But after a burst of speed, Béziers won the first set (25-18).
Nada Meawad MVP
A domination that continued at the start of the second set for Frédéric Havas' players: 5-1. A lead that the Biterroises maintained and gradually increased (14-7). In an enthusiastic sports hall, but a little more sparse than usual, the locals applied themselves to win the set (25-14).
Now all that remained was to finish the job and win in three straight sets. Béziers Volley did just that, leading from start to finish and winning 25-16. The MVP trophy goes to Angels captain Nada Meawad. For the next game, the Angels will play at home again, hosting Paris St Cloud.
