Bus and tram traffic will be severely disrupted this Tuesday due to a strike call by the majority union Force Ouvrière. On the four tram lines, Tam expects traffic to be similar to that of a Sunday.

Public transport will be severely disrupted this Tuesday due to a strike call by Force Ouvrière. This national call had been announced several weeks ago for the days of December 10, 11 and 12.

Strike suspended at the national level

It was finally suspended at the end of last week due to government censorship and the absence of a national interlocutor during this transition period. At the local level, Force Ouvrière, the majority union at the Métropole transport company, has however maintained its own, the degraded traffic plan having been prepared a few days ago based on the number of strikers declared.

According to Tam “the four tram lines and bus lines serving the city of Montpellier (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, La Navette, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 51, 52, 53) will operate according to the timetables on Sundays and public holidays”.
